Too much genital arousal? Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome may be the problem!
(09/20/2004)

by Unknown

While much of the attention these days is focused on women who complain of too little sexual excitement or genital arousal, there are a small number of women who experience the opposite complaint-that of persistent sexual (genital) arousal that occurs without feelings of sexual desire and which persists for hours, days or weeks despite one or more orgasms. While initially the sensations may be pleasurable, over time the intense, unrelieved feelings of vaginal and clitoral sensations become distressing.

If you believe you have this condition, kindly consider completing the PSAS Questionnaire. This is part of a research study being done by Dr. Sandra Leiblum at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She was the first to identify and describe this mysterious syndrome and has been working hard to better understand its' etiology and possible treatment.

The address for the confidential survey is http://www.umdnj.edu/psas
