Philosphy: Sexuality is an aspect of the self that intertwines with our physical, mental, and spiritual selves. It is also a medium through which we can experience and express many things, including pain, pleasure, joy, sorrow, rage, contentment, love, hate, guilt, affirmation, and confusion. As a professional, it is my responsibility to help individuals become empowered to address their sexuality-related concerns and identify opportunities for healing, growth, and pleasure.
Biography: Kelly currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of The Sexual Health Network. She also teaches "Sexuality, Law, and Public Policy" in Widener University's Human Sexuality Education program and teaches psychology and criminal justice courses at Delaware County Community College in southeastern Pennsylvania. In the past, she has served as a therapist at a child advocacy center, a sexuality consultant in the Philadelphia MH/MR system, the clinical coordinator of a residential program for sex offenders with cognitive disabilities, and the executive director of a Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program. She is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, & Therapists (AASECT), the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC), the International Society on Child Abuse & Neglect (ISPCAN), and the Children's Rights and Gay & Lesbian Rights subcommittees of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
