Biography: Originally from Iceland, popular sexologist, author, relationship expert, and columnist Dr. Yvonne Kristín Fulbright has graced over 300 publications, television, and radio stations around the globe, including CNN’s Paula Zahn NOW, NBC’s Today show, USA Today, The New York Times, Men’s Health UK, Cosmopolitan, and the Austrian Broadcasting Company. Armed with a master’s degree in human sexuality education from the University of Pennsylvania, Yvonne, author of The Hot Guide to Safer Sex, Touch Me There! A Hands-On Guide to Your Orgasmic Hot Spots, and Sex with Your Ex & 69 Other Things You Should Never Do, has focused on the needs of young adults. She has taught university-level human sexuality courses, written the “Sexpert Tells All” column for the Washington Square News, and volunteered as a sexual-health peer advocate. She is a highly sought-after college-circuit lecturer and frequent presenter for the American Medical Student Association, giving presentations nationwide on topics like eroticizing safer sex, love and relationships, sexual behaviors, contraceptives, STIs/HIV, and alcohol and sexual assault. Having received her Ph.D. in international community health, with a focus in sexual health, from New York University, Yvonne continues to mold her “sexpertise” as an adjunct professor of human sexuality at Argosy University, and is the co-host of Sex Files on the Sirius Maxim Channel 108. She is a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS). She provides editorial direction and is the book review and media editor for AASECT’s Contemporary Sexuality, as well as an expert with the Sexual Health Network and loveandhealth.ifriends.net. With bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from Pennsylvania State University complementing her extensive graduate training and background in sexuality, and having reached millions through her work in the mass media, workshops, courses, lectures, seminars, consulting, and writings, Yvonne has established herself as one of the leading contemporary sexuality experts. In 2004 she founded Sexuality Source, Inc., a communications and consulting organization specializing in the topics of sex, sexual health, and relationships.
