Biography: Erika Evans-Weaver holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Spanish from West Chester University, a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from LaSalle University and is a current doctoral student at Widener University for Human Sexuality. Over the last 4 years, Erika has been employed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Quality Assurance Director, and Clinical Specialist for a number of social service agencies in the Philadelphia area. Recently she has taken on the position as Adjunct Professor at some of the local Universities, and is Co-Founder of OurhealthOurlives.com, a health and wellness support network for women of color. In these positions, Erika has found her passion for helping others become more aware of who they are as well as who they want to become. This occurs via individual/couples/group counseling modalities. Erika’s therapeutic specialties and interests include women’s sexual health, multiculturalism in therapeutic practices, sexual addiction and couple’s therapy. Erika is excited to work with diverse populations in a multitude of professional settings as an educator, a clinician and an advocate for positive change, positive sexual habits, and a healthy life.
