Question:
I had sex while i was intoxicated, and she was dry so it made it painful for me to insert my penis. I forced my penis in some what and i remeber it hurting. I am uncircumsized. The next morning my skin/ foreskin is red, and it does still burn, maybe similar to a rug burn. I was wondering if this will heal or will stay red?

Rest assure sir, your penis will heal. It was just rubbed raw due to lack of lubrication. From now on however, remember these words of wisdom when you enter pain. Lubrication can be your best friend! It makes everything feel better and that means it's healthier for you too. See, pain is the body's way of saying, "Something is wrong here". Something could be tearing or ripping and that is NOT a good thing. Tearing and ripping could then result in a person getting some type of an infection, which generally we try to avoid. :) So, store bought lubrication like Maximus, Eros, Liquid Silk, heck even Astroglide can make a world of difference in the pleasure (and lack of pain) we experience during sex play. The right lube makes things feel better, lowers the risk of body tissues tearing, reduces condom breakage, increases the chances for orgasms, well, it just does wonders!! The lack of lubrication can be a result of many things, long amounts of sex play, not enough foreplay, medications being used, what type of sex are you having (the anus makes VERY little lubrication and it is necessary to have extra on hand for anal play), and finally, how much alcohol has been consumed? Anything more than an ounce of alcohol decreases the body's sexual response system, meaning less lubrication is produced along with a bunch of other things. Seems unfair doesn't it? Alcohol lowers our inhibitions which makes it easier for some people to have sex but then makes it more difficult to have pleasurable sex. So, words of wisdom for you to live by, have trial samples of lube on hand and if something hurts, STOP! Manufactures make lubrication small enough to fit in your pocket and make the sex more pleasurable for you, your partner and your penis! Thanks for asking and happy safe playing! Megan Andelloux
