Question:
My partner and I had sex a total of three times in a three day period. The last time, the condom slipped off. He had not cum yet and I had plenty of spermicide in me. I did not find the condom until the morning after. I am begining to get worried. I am not expecting my period for another week and I am starting to get these pains in my chest above the breast area. Is there a possibility that I could be pregnante or is it all in my mind? How can I tell if I am not expecting my period to come for a whole week.

Thanks for writing in and I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Given what you describe, I doubt there is really any liklihood that you could have gotten pregnant. If the pains you're experiencing are still there, please go see your doctor right away. It might be possible that it could be a reaction to the latex or spermicide. If you don't have a doctor, a Planned Parenthood or other family planning clinic will do it. And, if I may, please use this as a lesson: always be aware of the status of the condom while you're having intercourse - before, during, and after. Take care and good luck.
