Question:
Could you please tell me if it is safe to have sex in the shower using a condom. Is it possible for the heat off the water to damage it or is there any other problems i should know about.

Condoms should be safe to use in the shower. While condoms need to be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, they should not be damaged during the duration of sexual intercourse in a warm shower. Plus, condom packaging does not have a warning against using this product in water and certain lubricants are specially made for underwater sex. Regardless, using a condom during shower sex is safer than not. Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network. Yvonne K. Fulbright, MS.Ed.
