Question:
my boyfriend and i have had sex 8 or 9 times in the 2 months that we have been together. we have used protection (condoms) each time and just to be safe he has pulled out every time. but there have been 2 times when we have had condoms break, i am worried that there is a possibility that i might be pregnant. i havent missed my period yet but i still have a concern. those 2 times he hadnt cum yet but im afraid there is still that possibility. i havent talked to my parents because they would quickly shame me and be very upset with me for my sexual activity (they dont believe in sex before marraige) and i have never seen a gyno. can you give me any advise?

I can see why you are worried. However, if he did not ejaculate when the condom broke - there is some relief in knowing your chances of being pregnant are extremely small. I think now is a good time to make an appointment at your local family planning - so you can discuss not only a pregnancy test to relieve your anxiety, but also ideas for using other methods of birth control. It may ease your mind if you were also on the Pill or some other method of birth control - since condom breakage has been an issue. Also, do you know about emergency contraception - this is a series of pills you can take within 3 days/72 hours after unprotected intercourse - that prevents pregnancy. It is also available at your local family planning clinic. Best wishes.
