I am thirteen i have a 5.5 inch erected penis, is this over average?

Well, erect penises come in many shapes and sizes, just as breast size varies in women. I would say that you are quite in the average range for your age. Some erect penises are smaller and some are larger. Just as flaccid (non-erect) penises are of various sizes as well. Sometimes, a very small flaccid penis will be just as average or larger than others. The size of a penis when it is not erect does not have anything to do with how large it will be when erect. As a side note, many partners do not like larger than average penises as they can hurt more during sexual activity, especially if they bang against a womam's cervix (the end of the vagina that is also the opening to the uterus). It is quite common for men and boys to be concerned over penis size. We live in a culture that says "bigger is better."
