Question:
I'm an 18 year old male. I'm in good shape and good health. My problem is to say the least, odd. I first noticed it in gymnastics during my 7th grade year. Let's say that made me 13 or so. The problem arises when I have to do something that makes me use my abs. Like an L on the parallel bars. This is basically sitting down on the floor but holding yourself off of the floor, keeping your feet above the floor, so that the only thing touching is your hands. This and other exercises that cause me to use my abs is such a way or close too this make me get that "good feeling" you get while masturbating. If I hold this position for about 30-50 seconds I will cum, and when I cum, it's a full-blown orgasm. Needless to say I can't do this up in the air as it makes my arms kinda weak, and it's a little messy. I have waited a very long time till I found a site like this to respond to, as I'm extremely embarrassed about it. Another problem which may not actually be a problem, but it's irritating, is that my penis has a curve to the left. While I have an erection, it can't stand straight up like it does with guys in movies. I don't know what the problem is. Okay, I wear underwear, and generally while wearing the underwear my penis goes to the left, so in an attempt to maybe fix it I started putting it on the right side. To no avail it did change this curve. Thank you for listening!

Men are known to get aroused by many different stimuli and you have a unique response to your parallel bar workout. What you are experiencing is an orgasm and it is natural to make your arms weak for some time. My suggestion is to avoid 'that' position for more than 20 seconds because you may fall some day and injure yourself! You are correct- your other problem is not a problem. Deviation of the penis to either side makes no difference in your partner's or your ability to enjoy sex. Editors note - Another possible viewpoint to consider: Two of the main processes involved in the human sexual response cycle are vasocongestion and myotonia. Vasocongestion is the buildup of blood supply and retention in certain areas of the body. Myotonia involves the buildup of muscle tension. It is possible that when your body is in the "L" position, the contraction in your abdominal muscles is contributing to your sexual arousal and orgasm. I would suggest that you enjoy this rare ability to climax so quickly from the contraction of these muscles. However, as mentioned above, it would be wise to make sure that you are in a physically safe situation when you are masturbating in this way - i.e. place a soft mat underneath you. And, obviously it wouldn't be a good idea to practice this while too high up in the air in case you do fall. Regarding the curvature of your penis - everyone's genital anatomy is shaped differently. Depending upon your partner's genital anatomy and the fit between the two of you, this can actually be an advantage. If you are genitally well suited for each other, the curve may offer your partner unique stimulation. Sexual positions can also be altered to accomodate different genital angles, sizes, shapes, etc. If ever the curvature of your penis becomes too great or causes you pain during erection, it would be wise to consult a physician. So, have fun and enjoy your uniqueness. Patricia Fawver, Ph.D.
