Question:
About 2 months ago... I woke up in the morning with an erection... and I was lying face down. I moved in my bed and landed on it wierd. There was no major pain like I had broken something, however I noticed during sexual contact with my girlfriend the next day... that my sensitivity in my penis shaft(not head) was dramtically less. I have probably 20 percent of what I used to. There is also a section where my scrotum connects to my shaft that is completely numb. I can perform, and stay erect(not as easily) and ejaculate(which feels normal), however the skin of my shaft on my penis is just very numb.
Another possibility.. was I threw my lower back out at that time as well. i suffer from no pain...so I really dont know what it could be from. Can you please help me?
thanks for your time

It is unlikely that a nerve injury resulted from that incident but other causes for decreased sensitivity need to be evaluated by a medical professional. Examples of disorders that might lead to decreased nerve sensitivity include Diabetes (high blood sugar), alcoholic neuropathies and various other nerve disorders. Psychological factors are also frequently encountered with such complaints if no physical abnormality was identified.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
