In the USA and Canada, the following offer degree programs in sexology: Antioch New England Graduate School, Keene, New Hampshire -- Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. California State University, Northridge -- Interdisciplinary Minor in Human Sexuality. Offered through the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. An undergraduate certificate is available in this program. Indiana University, Bloomington -- Undergraduate Individualized Major in Human Sexuality -- Doctoral Minor in Human Sexuality (Kinsey Institute) -- Doctoral Minor and Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Major in Gender Studies The Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco, California -- The Institute offers graduate programs and professional training, both onsite and through distance education. The American Academy of Clinical Sexologists and Maimonides University, a private religous studies degree-granting institute, are offering a clinical sex therapy curriculum for a doctoral degree in pastoral clinical sexology. The Master's program continues the tradition of the graduate program at University of Pennsylvania (where it operated the past 20 years); the curriculum has both academic and clinical components. Clergy, educators, counselors, and others who wish to become certified sex educators, to do counseling therapy, to get advanced training, or to engage in sex research may apply. The doctoral program will be accepting students for the fall 2000 semester.
