Question:
I have begun to date my girlfriend for about 5 months now and we are both virgins (we are the first boyfriend/girlfriend to each other). Two weeks ago I have started to play with her breasts (massaging the breasts and sucking on the nipples) and we continued to heavy petting afterwards but no intercourse, one of us always had underwear on when the other was naked. There might be contact between the genitals but there was always an underwear between it. My question is: Four days ago she told me that she had experienced swelling/tenderness on her right breast and yesterday the left one as well (she said the feeling was similar to the PMS one but slightly worse). What caused her breast condition? Can she get pregnant from the genital contact as described above?

Good question. I would not be concerned about pregnancy - if you only had contact as you described. In order for the sperm to meet an egg, there needs to be ejaculation into the vagina - or at least very close skin to skin contact. It sounds like the breast tenderness could be the result of your massaging of her breasts and sucking on her nipples. If you think you may be headed for intercourse, it would be wise to seek some medical advise on the various types of contraception available. Perhaps talking to a family planning provider would be useful. It is always better to plan ahead. Best wishes.
