Question:
I haven't seen this anywhere, when I have sex and approach orgasm, I get a sensation that is very intense. The muscles in my legs and then the rest of my body tighten up to the point that it is unbearable and I have to push my husband away. I have never had a seizure, but this is how I imagine one would feel. Sex is pleasurable up to the point when this starts to happen. I have become less interested in sex because of this sensation.

Answer: by Rajendra Sathe: ()
The sensation that you describe is a normal pre-orgasmic physiological occurrence. If you were to continue you would most probably experience a full-blown orgasm that, in some individuals, is very intense and akin to an epileptic seizure. In fact, the famous researcher Alfred Kinsey and his colleagues did compare an orgasm to an epileptic fit!
If you overcome this 'unbearable' sensation and continue to enjoy the sexual act, chances are that you MIGHT experience an orgasm that is very intense and satisfying. Consider discussing this with your husband so that he will continue to stimulate you in a way you desire. It will also help him to remain aware and expect a forceful response from you during sex and will not move away in fear of harming you. However do not force yourself to do this, try and allow it come naturally. If you are happy with the orgasms you are getting now you should be mighty pleased with yourself.
