Question:
when my girlfriend and i fool around she gets this weird feeling while being stimulated she describes as flushness. She says it feels as if the blood leaves her head and returns quickly it lasts only seconds but we dont know what it is although i think it might be normal what is the cause and what is it?

I have no idea. It sounds like it may be a type of neurological and circulatory stimulation caused by the resease of epinephrine (adrenaline) into the blodstream. Editors Note: Flushing is a common part of the sexaul response cycle. During sexual response, circulation is flowing and different body tissues are being engorged with blood. Often referred to as the 'sex flush', many people become red in the face, on the chest, as well as other parts of the body. It is also possible that because of the changes in breathing that accompany sexual response, she may be hyperventilating or holding her breath. Either of these changes in breathing patterns could possibly cause the sensations you mention. If it continues to be bothersome, she can consult with a doctor. Melissa BEE
