Question:
are there any adverse effects in swollowing semen during oral sex?

Answer:
by Georgan Gregg:
()
Any time sexual fluid such as semen is in contact with mucous membrane (like your mouth & throat) it could be a real problem. Semen can contain the virus & germs that cause sexually transmitted diseases & infections (STD/STI), including HIV/AIDS. Mouth to penis sex should always be done with a latex or polyurethane condom in place as soon as the penis becomes erect. Long before the man ejaculates, precum (pre-ejaculatory fluid) is present & would also have STD/HIV if the man is infected. Since you can never be sure of that unless you are in a mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner, you should simply always use a condom for oral sex. To give you the total picture for oral safe(r) sex, a barrier should be used for mouth to vagina, too. In this case, use clear plastic wrap, a condom cut in half & opened, or a latex dental dam (used by dentists during dental surgery). Play it safe & contact us again anytime!
