As you probably know from your many visits to the doctor on this, warts are caused by a virus. Viruses can spread to other parts of the body or to other people. Some people don't get them though, even when exposed to them since each person's immune system is different. Many people live with others who have warts and never get them. There is some belief that if you have warts on your hand that those warts will not ever develop elsewhere but most dermatologists that I know say this is not accurate. Warts on one part of the body can develop on other parts, though they usually do not. Since the virus that causes genital warts is not the same as the ones that cause the warts on your hands, HPV is not likely to occur unless your girlfriend gets exposed to that virus from a different source. (If you have HPV on your genitals from other sexual contacts before her, then she could get it from there) Just to be safe though you might want to continue to get your warts removed, trying another dermatologist who speciaizes in wart removal if you can find one. Also have that person test your penis and other genitalia for warts as well. There is a vinegar solution that doctors can use to bring the view of the virus to the surface, so it is an easy thing to do. To be safe you need to ask your doctor about what his/her medical advice is about you spreading this virus to other parts of your body that would then possibly expose your girlfriend. This is a great question to ask and you will get a medical answer from someone who works with viruses more than I do.
