i was told by a doctor that ive contracted a STD, once aware of the problem I told my supervisor who was later questioned about it from his supervisor. i was wondering is that legal and how do bring this to the light without more humilitaion?

I'm not too clear on what it is you're asking. Are you saying that the confidentiality of your medical information was violated by the doctor or your supervisor? Ordinarily, violating one's right to keep medical information confidential is cause for legal action. However, I'm not really sure about the rules in the military. I would recommend talking with a counselor, chaplain, or someone who can help you more discreetly. Is there something like a Judge Advocate's office on the base? They may be able to guide you as far as the legal confidentiality issue, as well as the implications of having this information found out.
