Question:
I have not had a sex drive for several years and in the last few weeks I have had an intense, constant desire to masterbate or have sex. This is not a normal feeling for me and it is disrupting my daily life. Suggestions?

Sometimes an unanticipated urgent need to experience orgasm is related to an oversensitivity and or an engorgement of the genital organs. This can be a normal response of renewed sexual interest..however in your case, if it's disrupting your life, it sounds as though there might be another cause. It is possible that medications that you are on or the interaction between several medications may be responsible for this. Sometimes a cause of this might be a back or pelvic injury from a fall or accident. If your symptoms persist, it would be wise to check with your doctor regarding possible causes and solutions. Good luck.
