Question:
I had a total hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and have experienced a very high libido for about 1 week now. Is it safe to stimulate the clitoris to orgasm at this time? I know that vaginal penetration is not safe for 4-6 weeks and will not take any chances with that healing process, but I stay aroused all the time and would like some relief if possible.

Hello. It does not seem that mastubating or stimulating your clitoris should affect your recovery from your surgery, just know that if you orgasm, there may be some discomfort from the uterine contractions (even though it is gone!) You may want to pleasure yourself lightly, but not orgasm if it feels uncomfortable. It won't be long before you can find fuller relief! Hang in there.
