Question:
i had sex with my boyfriend this month. we used a condom and it didn't break. my last period started on june 1st. now it is june 29 and i still havent gotten it. a few days ago i felt pains that felt like menstrual cramps and i thought i was getting my period but i still havent. im so nervous abotu gettting pregnant. can i be pregnant???

If you are sure that the condom did not break and there was otherwise no contact between semen and vulva, rest assured that the chances of pregnancy are practically nil. Sometimes periods can occur with some delay for weird reasons. Physical and mental stress, anxiety, hormonal and dietary changes can bring out changes in the menstrual cycle. Your periods should have commenced by now. If not, get tested for pregnancy. Most tests based on recent techniques detect pregnancy as soon as the period is missed or even a few days earlier to that.
