YOu have written several good questions in this letter so let me help you by providing information. Please let your girlfriend know that she is not at risk of a pregnancy. The reason she may have felt moisture on her underwear is that when she was sexually aroused during your "outcourse" she also makes moisture up in her vagina. That comes out into the underwear as well.
As for your sperm, there is NO WAY that it can get through two laters of clothing and into her vagina. Sperm is actually very fragile and that is why it needs to be protected by semen and why so many pregnancies do not ever occur. Sperm just can not penetrate clothing, and the moisture may be from the semen, but the sperm inside the semen is not able to get through.
Absolutely the stress she is feeling could easily block the pain of her oncoming period, and also delay her period from coming making her even more nervous. Aug. 4th in a 30 day period is a little late for there to be an egg present so she isn't likely to be pregnant anyway, but assure her that the more stressed she is the more delay she creates in her period.
As far as what Dr. Ruth said I don't agree with her that the lips create a tight seal, but there is not any chance that sperm is going to get through the layers of clothing even if there was moisture. Sperm just can't swim that hard, and just is too fragile.
For the future though I guess you and your girlfriend better not do what you were doing because it seems to stress her out a great deal. Having an ejaculation far away from her vaginal opening, and not putting any on your hands when you stimulate her though should be very safe!
Thanks for writing, and tell her to relax.Reviewed by Sexual Health Editorial Team
